A series of tornadoes rolled across multiple states in the south Thursday evening leaving dozens of properties damage and at least 5 people dead.

Tornadoes were reported in Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky, and Mississippi according to CNN.

CNN: 'Supercharged tornado season' is possible this year

According to a recent CNN article the upcoming tornado season could be “supercharged” by La Niña much like it was in 2011.

The article described the start of 2021 as “almost identical” to what we had experienced 10 years ago.
